The Garmin Nuvifone was announced back on January 2008 and still has not found its way to store shelves. Today it is going to get a little closer with some friends to follow shortly after. Garmin and Asus are teaming up today to announce a new relationship they will have building out a line of GPS centric cellphones. This partnership should speed up the process from concept to final product which is something we all can love. We will most likely see the first Nuvifone at MWC this month. The two companies have also said that they will roll out other models this year possibly with Android. The first Nuvi will most likely come to At&t sometime this year in the states.
